Blepharoplasty, commonly referred to as eyelid surgery or an eye lift, is a surgical procedure designed to restore a youthful, refreshed appearance to the eyes by addressing the visible signs of aging in the upper and/or lower eyelids. Over time, the delicate skin around the eyes begins to stretch, and the supportive tissues weaken, allowing fat pads to bulge forward.
